A refined and innovative grand tourer

Presented at the 1961 Turin Motor Show, the Lancia Flavia Coupé was designed and built by Pininfarina as an elegant grand tourer.

Its refined three-box body combines sporty proportions and sober elegance, so much so that it is often compared to contemporary Ferraris.

Based on the Flavia sedan platform, it adopted technical solutions that were particularly advanced for its time, including front-wheel drive, disc brakes on all four wheels, and a four-cylinder boxer engine.

Initially offered with a 1.5-liter engine, it was later developed into 1.8 and 2.0-liter versions. The range also included variants equipped with mechanical injection, capable of offering superior performance and better driveability.

The front is characterized by the classic Lancia grille, framed by elegant chrome elements and slightly more compact than that of the sedan. The continuous side profile, highlighted by a discreet rib, makes the coupé's silhouette particularly sleek and balanced.

The interior is upholstered in leather and features adjustable seats with reclining backrests, designed to facilitate access to the rear seats.

During its production cycle, the Flavia Coupé received several stylistic and mechanical updates, consolidating its role as a refined, comfortable, and innovative grand tourer.
