A unique prototype signed by Pininfarina
The Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sport is a unique prototype, never intended for mass production, designed by Pininfarina and presented at the 1965 Turin Motor Show.
Built on the chassis and mechanics of the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, developed by Autodelta, the car offers a completely new and modern image compared to the racing model from which it derives.
The bodywork is low, aerodynamic and characterized by a marked wedge shape. The clean surfaces and sleek profile express an innovative vision of the high-performance sports coupé.
The front features retractable headlights and a discreet Alfa Romeo grille, harmoniously integrated into the bodywork's forms. The passenger compartment is defined by a sharply raked windshield and large glazed surfaces, designed to accentuate the sensation of lightness and ensure high visibility.
Under the hood is the 1.6-liter twin-cam four-cylinder engine from the Giulia TZ, capable of developing approximately 112 hp. The technical configuration also includes a five-speed gearbox, rear-wheel drive and disc brakes on all four wheels.
The Giulia Sport represents a valuable testament to the stylistic and aerodynamic research conducted by Pininfarina during the 1960s.
Why choose it
More than a reproduction: a work where Pininfarina's formal research meets Dexter Brown's artistic interpretation.
The pictorial language enhances the wedge line and the experimental character of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sport through color, movement and material, transforming the prototype into an artistic composition with a strong visual impact.
The print is ideal for professional studios, offices, showrooms, private collections, and environments dedicated to art, design, and automotive culture.
Each copy is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, an editorial sheet detailing the history of the subject, and a descriptive postcard of the Pininfarina Heritage project.
